Seakeeper Introduces Newest Model

At the recent Cannes Yachting Festival in France, Seakeeper debuted its newest stabilization model, the Seakeeper 18. The gyro stabilizer will be available for recreational boats 65 to 75 feet in length and can get rid of 95% of boat roll via the 18,000 Newton-meter-seconds worth of angular momentum.

“Customers are demanding the best performance possible,” says Andrew Semprevivo, president and CEO. “It’s not about reducing the roll any more, we’re regularly being asked to eliminate it completely. The Seakeeper 18 was developed as a response to that.”

The Seakeeper 16, introduced nearly five years ago, has been installed in about 50% of all new boats being built in its target size range.

The Seakeeper 18 will be priced starting at $119,900. For more information, visit
